There are few things I love the way I love the season of Fall so I can’t tell you how excited I was when I saw my favorite list maker, Stasha at The Good Life, decided to make this week’s Monday Listicle topic: TOP 10 AUTUMN MUST HAVES to get us in the mood for the season.
I love the way the air smells different in the fall, the colder weather, the longer nights…what can I say? I grew up in the Pacific North West, land of perpetual fall-ish weather. Fall feels like home to me.
Below are a few of my favorite things to accompany my favorite time of year.

My favorite, comfy, well worn jeans

As many big, chunky sweaters as I can get my hands on

Love, love and more love
What can you not do without this Fall? I can’t wait to find out!
Hope the change in season is bringing you happiness and change in all good ways.

HA – great minds! I am sipping chamomile tea and wearing my fluffy fleece socks as read lists!
I love all the boots. I have to get some decent boots this year.
And yes, that was R2D2 pumpkin face on my porch. My son want bonkers, but…..Never Again. LOL
I am totally impressed about that R2D2 pumpkin but can also understand never wanting to do it again – lol! Tea and warm socks in the evening, love it. Thanks for reading Rory!
Your list is awesome! I love the boots, the tea, and oh, do I LOVE the smell of burning wood!
Yes – that smell is one of the best things about the season
Thanks so much for reading Jill!
The marshmallows over a fire with a chill in the air. Love that! Did it just last night. And then slap that (burnt) marshmallow on some chocolate and graham crackers. Heaven. Unfortunately, we were out of Hershey’s last night and had to use Raisinets. Just not the same.
Ok, I’m jealous now, it’s still too warm here for fires and I am totally ready to make s’mores! Never tried with Raisinets but I bet it was fun anyway and the marshmallows were good. Thanks so much for reading Kate!
Love, how could I have forgotten that? Books yes and warm, cozy socks, of course! Great list!
Books and warm, cozy socks even go well together
Thanks so much for reading Bruna!
Love and cozy socks is all we need. Love this list. Happy fall my friend!
Thanks Stasha – I totally agree
Awesome topic this week, happy Fall to you as well and thanks so much for reading!
A good pair of jeans, comfy socks, and rocking the perfect pair of boots, comfort and style in the fall! The best part, those flowy sweaters mean you don’t have to suck it in.
LOL – I love that about the big sweaters as well! Thanks for reading Jackie!
Those socks look so awesome, I need some!
Those socks make me want to learn how to knit! They look so warm and cozy….thanks so much for stopping by Stacie!
I can’t wait to break out my boots. I think boots are the only redeeming thing about cold weather.
Your movie poster made me snort!
Ellen
Boots are my favorite as well. Glad you liked the movie poster, we LOVED Grindhouse! And I love movie nights, snuggling with the husband
Thanks for reading Ellen!
ah the smell of burning wood!
It is a glorious thing! Thanks for stopping by!
Ah, the stack of jeans! Love it. I’m the same way. Call me a jeans junkie , it’s cool. Great post to read on October 1st! I’m feeling festive thanks!
Yes, I am a total jeans junkie too. Jeans, boots and a comfy sweater – nothing better. Happy October
Thanks so much for reading Sarah!
The comfy jeans are a great fall call!
Yes! Always a favorite. Thanks so much for reading Wayne!
It does always feel like fall here, except for in the summer
Those socks look amazing!
The socks are a favorite of mine as well. I miss the always fall feel of Washington State, the summers are wonderful there as well. Thanks so much for reading Audrey!
Nice visuals! I hear you on West Coast weather, I grew up in foggy San Francisco… Love the idea of an “oasis” instead of a bed couch potato!
I’ve always felt like a bedroom should be like your your welcoming, relaxing oasis away from the rest of the world so I’ve tried to create that. Thanks so much for reading Lisa!
