To say this past week for me was challenging may be a slight understatement.

I was shoved outside my comfort zone and had to deal head on with some really uncomfortable, difficult situations.

Naturally, I’ve been working on a post about this but am having a hard time finding the right words. And since I’d rather reduce than increase any stress at this point, I decided to step back, do some reading instead and begin the uphill climb back to feeling good and calm and clear.

Currently in progress – The Way of the Peaceful Warrior.

I’d seen the movie several years ago but just happened to find this at our last trip to the library and no surprise, the book is blowing the movie away. It’s a great read so far and giving me plenty to think about.

Next up – Quantum Wellness: A Transformative Guide to Health, Happiness and a Better World

book - Quantum Wellness

I’ve read this one before but it’s been a while and will be a great refresher. What I love about this book is that it takes a full approach to creating and maintaining a happy, healthy life – mind, body and spirit.

For now, as Nemo says, I’ll just keep swimming. Hope you have a great week ahead!

What kinds of things do you do to take care of yourself and get back on track after especially stressful and trying times?

  • As I mentioned before, I love the Kathy Freston book. I try to eat as healthy as possible, take vitamin b, and drink lots of water. And avoid negative people or environments. Hope this week is better!

    • That is a really great book. You have the prefect self care formula for being happy and well, especially avoiding the negative stuff 🙂 Thanks so much for reading Felicity, things are looking up this week!
